"I spotted a gold-orange bag of Tcho Chocolate baking supplies on Marcus’s pastry workstation in season 2, episode 1 (11:09 and 11:19), a small but proud East Bay Easter egg that feels authentic to back-of-house life. The company had sent bars as well as bags upon bags of cocoa powder and couvertures to the set in October 2022, and staff who once worked in kitchens were especially thrilled to see a familiar baking bag on screen; Josh Mohr called it “an incredible honor.” While many customers know Tcho for its colorful, now plant-based bars, that huge orange bag is instantly recognizable to Bay Area cooks and could have contained anything from cocoa powder to the 100% dark couverture known as Hella Dark—the brand’s tagline, “Finish What You Started,” is even visible in the scene." - Paolo Bicchieri
