Lay Low Tavern was Robbed at Gunpoint Last Night | Eater Portland

"A beloved dive bar and burger spot that opened in March 2017 as a sort-of replacement for the demolished Club 21, The Lay Low Tavern specializes in low-priced drinks, food specials and build-your-own burgers, with a small smoking patio out back and a photo booth inside. In the early hours it was robbed by three masked suspects—two armed with guns and one with a taser—who forced patrons to the ground at about 2:30 a.m. and took an undisclosed amount of cash; no one was reported injured. Portland Police said only three people were in the bar at the time (including the bartender), that the suspects were male of unknown race, and cautioned victims and witnesses to cooperate; anyone with information should contact Portland Police at (503) 823-0412.
