San Francisco’s Best Restaurants for Solid Weekday Breakfasts

"When Early to Rise opened its doors last year, it felt like the toughest table in town. Lines formed around the block and weekend wait times consistently exceeded 2 hours. Things have settled down since then, weekend reservations can now be made a week in advance, and the neighborhood has embraced Early to Rise as their go-to for upscale, scratch made brunch. The majority of the menu is made in house, doughnuts are fried to order, and the price point here reflects that. It’s tough to do Early to Rise on a budget but it’s worth it every time." - Matt Tillquist
