"Richard Caring’s Caprice Holdings is converting the former Jamie Oliver steak-restaurant site into a new Asian-themed branch this autumn, with vinyl-covered windows recently photographed confirming the takeover. It will be a second Asian outpost for the brand after a Manchester debut last year and follows the parent group's strategy of translating its high-end, celebrity-linked dining credentials into more casual formats. The concept leans into trendy Asian ingredients and aesthetics — raw fish, grilled dishes, citrus notes, geisha iconography and plush fabrics — and is supported by a chef whose travels across Cambodia, Vietnam and Tokyo’s Tsukiji market inform the menu. The venue is expected to open in the next two months." - Adam Coghlan
