"Opening on 16 June in the newly renovated Hackney Central arches beneath the railway tracks lining Bohemia Place, this craft brewery, bar and restaurant is the first of several food and drink operators to move into the arches. Co-founded by Luke Scanlon and Ryan Robbins, the operation combines its own beers with a broader global roster and features an interior inspired by the nearby parish church on Lower Clapton Road — restored pews and a wooden architrave give the space a deliberately church-like feel. Headed by Robbins, who began as a home brewer, the brewery will launch with an American pale ale, a lager, an IPA and an imperial stout. It aims to pair its in-house brews with other well-known craft beers in a taproom-style model, and positions itself around community engagement (with the tagline “beer for all sorts” and links to the parish) while operating a kitchen that will host rotating residencies to showcase different cuisines." - Adam Coghlan
