Asian Specialty Tea Shop Opens in Point Loma | Eater San Diego

"A pop-up tea bar has found a permanent storefront in Point Loma, and I was impressed by the minimalist, modern retail shop (designed by local firm Sunset Projects) that shares space with Studio Luniste and centers on an intimate nine-seat tea bar. I learned that founder Amy Truong, who in 2017 launched a premium tea subscription box focused on organic loose-leaf teas from small farms in Japan and Vietnam, also runs private events and classes around town. The cafe offers a selection of over 30 teas and a rotating menu of specialty tea drinks, with a seasonal beverage lineup that includes blue chamomile tea with lemon and lavender sugar, yuzu sparkling tea, and mint matcha oatmilk lattes; reservations are recommended, especially on weekends, for Paru’s tea flight service.
