Chicago Pizzeria Owner Accused of Snapping Inappropriate Photos of Workers - Eater Chicago
"The claims stem from incidents at Parmesans Wood Stone Pizza in Frankfort. Papandrea allegedly took thousands of up-skirt photos and videos of female employees, using cameras installed in the tops of his shoes, over a span of more than 10 years. In March 2020, Illinois State Police raided the Frankfort restaurant, arresting Papandrea and charging him with unauthorized video recording. The lawsuit filed in Cook County court alleges state troopers found over 24,000 inappropriate photographs and videos. A computer forensic expert found nearly 2,000 videos from the shoe recorder alone, plus another 14 from a camera placed above a restroom toilet. Incidents occurred from 2012 to 2020 and were discovered by employees who reported them to police." - Naomi Waxman
