"Sip & Savor, the Black-owned coffee chain from Trez Pugh, in early May reopened its outpost in Rosenwald Courts after 10 months in stasis, according to Block Club Chicago. Pugh, who owns additional locations in Bronzeville, Hyde Park, and suburban Matteson, temporarily shut down the Rosenwald cafe in July 2021. In the meantime, he rented out the space for events, held pop-ups for other local businesses, and hosted a bi-monthly series of educational and networking events for entrepreneurs.
