"The new restrictions have definitely hurt the business—restaurants operate on very slim margins and being limited to 25 percent of capacity makes it extremely difficult to cover bills—so we’ve leaned more heavily on third-party apps like Grubhub and Postmates and have increased takeout, built online ordering and curbside pickup, created group dinner packages and gift cards, and put together family-style dinner packages to make it easy to grab food for the whole family; we also have a large patio-themed dining room that is largely unused under current rules, and while our Henderson landlord has been very understanding, our Southwest landlord demanded full payments and raised costs at the worst time, so I’m hopeful things will improve by spring but worried in the near term." - Susan Stapleton
