"While construction work has yet to begin on the bar project, on the Linq Promenade, the French restaurant originally known as Chez Marcel has been re-dubbed La Favorite Bistro, a sequel to the original on Paris’ Rue de Rivoli. Located opposite Sprinkles cupcakes, the 5,962-square-foot restaurant will have room enough for 137 inside and has been built with an impressive estimated construction budget of $2,327,009. The original French location launched in Le Marais in 2012, serving a traditional menu of bistro and cafe essentials. Controversially, restaurateur Keith McNally, owner of New York’s Balthazar, Minetta Tavern, and the shuttered Schiller’s Liquor Bar unhappily claims La Favorite’s Parisian interior is an “inch by inch” copy of Schiller’s European design." - Bradley Martin
