5 NYC Restaurants to Try This Weekend - Eater NY

"The so-called family sharing platter is a great deal at Frangos with enough food for five or six at this new Alphabet City Portuguese chicken joint. Eighty bucks gets you two large whole chickens smeared with a choice of sauces, either in a piri-piri vein, a fruity mango sauce, an almost Greek lemon and herb, or garlic and herb, which tastes as spicy as the piri-piri. Then you also get 20 chicken wings and four sides from a roster of 11. The ones my friends and I particularly liked included spicy rice, jalapeno poppers, and grilled cauliflower. This place is a haven of hotness if you choose." - Eater Staff
