"After Krystal’s Cafe and Bakery closed, this successor took over the same Roosevelt Avenue corner and offers a similar broad-ranging Filipino menu; I loved the all-day "-silogs," especially the tinapasilog ($11.20): two runny poached eggs, garlic fried rice, slices of Asian eggplant, a chopped fresh tomato relish strikingly like pico de gallo, and an entire smoked bangús (milkfish) served with a saucer of soy-vinegar and shallots — a smoky, mellow, oily, toasted-garlic-and-sour plate that makes a magnificent brunch any day of the week." - Eater Staff
