"Conceived by a band of bar pros behind Blossom Bar, Ivory Pearl, and Baldwin Bar, Birds of Paradise in Brighton’s Charles River Speedway is designed to give patrons the travel bug through inventive cocktails: the Big Apple in Lil’ Jalisco is a carbonated mix of tequila and apple cordial that could be mistaken for fizzy, tart champagne, while the Pare de Sufrir martini soars with tomatillo, soursop, génépy, and orange bitters. The bar has also been a gathering point for top visiting talent—including the world‑renowned team behind New York’s Double Chicken Please—making it a standout in Boston’s bar scene." - Erika Adams
