"Longtime Williamsburg restaurant at 355 Metropolitan Avenue between North Fourth and Fifth streets is finally reopening on Wednesday, February 12 after a temporary shutter caused by an electrical fire in the early morning of September 11, 2024; no one was hurt, the dining room was fine, but the basement was damaged. When it reopens, it will initially open for dinner service daily, with lunch to be added later. Owner Joe Carroll opened the restaurant in 2010, expanded it to Washington, D.C. in 2018, and also runs Brooklyn barbecue restaurant Fette Sau, which has a location in Philly." - Nadia Chaudhury
