"Turning five this year, the brewery's annual block party has become a major community celebration and fundraiser: last year's event drew over 2,000 people and raised more than $26,000, and the effort has contributed $73,000 over the past four years to the Green Heart Project’s farm-to-school programs. The Sunday, October 27 afternoon event (12–6 p.m.) charges $10 admission with all proceeds going to the charity, features an “Animalistic” Halloween costume theme, DJ Sparkbox on the decks, local food vendors such as Semilla, Daps, and Pub Fare, and is family- and dog-friendly.
