"Vlado Kolenic, a rocker-turned-chef, and Giga Leszayova – both natives of the former Czechoslovakia – have introduced Euro-Tex cuisine to the Heights neighborhood. The couple crafted an eclectic menu of European dishes infused with Texas flavors, inclusive of pan-fried schnitzel, chicken paprikash, and plates of halušky — thick, doughy dumplings found across Central and Eastern Europe. Plates get truly inventive here, too.
