"Taking design cues from the 1970s, Atwater Village’s High Low bar brings a respectable happy hour with a gorgeous fireplace centerpiece, leather banquettes, and plush velvet chairs. Though the $12 nachos, $6 soft pretzel, and $9 margarita are excellent deals, the $11 soft taco plate is available at all hours, as is the pool table. Happy hour runs from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday." - Rebecca Roland
