"The Creamery at Union Market opened last week in the vacated stall formerly occupied by Trickling Springs Creamery in the Northeast food hall. Daniel Burdge, the former retail manager for Trickling Springs, runs the ice cream counter with his wife. The Creamery plans to use Trickling Springs's old ice cream recipes, working with an unnamed farm in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Currently, it stocks Van Leeuwen ice cream and plans to partner with multiple ice cream brands. Ice cream costs $5 for up to two flavors, with options for cups or fresh waffle cones. The Creamery also sells Pequea Valley Farms yogurt, Nature’s Yoke eggs, and milk from Deliteful Dairy in BPA-free bottles." - Tierney Plumb
