"A California-born chain has opened a 1,000-square-foot dessert cafe in NewQuest Properties’ Frisco Ranch development in Frisco, joining a sweets-heavy stretch of shops. Founded in 2014 in LA’s Koreatown, the concept specializes in bingsoo (finely shaved ice that resembles snow) offered in flavors such as strawberry, chocolate, yogurt berry, black sesame, and green tea, alongside dessert toasts topped with black sesame, matcha, and cinnamon. The menu also features pastries and a range of beverages—coffees, teas, juices, and smoothies—including new-to-DFW items like a sweet potato latte. The cult brand currently operates five modern California locations, with more stores planned for Texas." - Tierney Plumb
