"Suburban Evanston-based Sketchbook Brewing has launched an “ambitious” production brewery and taproom in nearby Skokie that will allow the company to quadruple its production, according to the Tribune. It’s in the former Arcade Brewing space that closed in 2016 when its contract brewer, Ale Syndicate, also went out of business. The taproom’s capacity is limited to 50 people for the time being — though the 4,000 square-foot space can seat more than 280 in total, and the space includes an 800 square-foot patio. Sketchbook Brewing, 4901 Main Street in Skokie. Open 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday; noon to 10 p.m. Friday through Sunday." - Naomi Waxman
