"I learned that after a three-month coronavirus hiatus the casino located just outside D.C. will reopen to the public on Monday, June 29. The 160,000-square-foot casino floor will operate at half capacity per the governor’s orders, with temperature checks via thermal scanners on entry, mandatory masks for employees and guests (with free face coverings available), disabled every-other slot machine and plexiglass shields at many table games, and no poker in the first phase. Dining and bars will follow distancing rules—seats and bar stools spaced six feet apart, no physical menus (guests will scan QR codes and receive text notifications when tables are ready)—and the property will open venues in phases while offering free self-parking (valet suspended) and variable hours across venues." - Tierney Plumb
