"An all-year neighborhood favorite for 30 years, the Fremont Sunday Market had been closed since March due to the COVID-19 pandemic but is reopening Sunday, September 6 as a European-style street market mixing retail and food vendors. New protocols will ban food trucks and made-to-order dishes while allowing operators to sell packaged meal kits; the market is currently limited to 40 vendors with hopes to expand to 65, will be entirely outdoors, operate from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and enforce gated entry and exit, limited occupancy, temperature checks, and mandatory masks. In October the market plans to launch an online shopping hub to increase offerings for curbside pickup." - Gabe Guarente
