"A busy Mexican taqueria group is opening a small Pasadena outpost at 20 E. Union Street by the end of the year. The compact, mostly counter-style spot will largely mirror their existing Greater Los Angeles locations (Burbank, Beverly Grove, Downtown, Westwood), featuring a limited ordering area and a tight menu focused on carne asada, adobada, chicken, mushroom tacos and similar offerings. Owner Victor Delgado told Eater the concept is intentionally small to fit the recently redone block just off Old Pasadena, which has drawn other newcomers and benefits from the city’s al fresco dining setup along the one-way street." - Farley Elliott
