"A longtime Bloomingdale bar and restaurant known for its Nashville hot wings and chicken sandwiches, Crisp debuted in the former Costa Brava space in fall 2015 under Jamie Hess and drew attention for its hot chicken and homemade pickles before being sold about a year and a half ago to Gabriel Neri. The existing chef, Monroe Marsh, who has an Italian background, will stay on; staff were given the option to return, and basil and oregano plants on the outside patio will be plucked for plates. The spot previously ran a BOGO happy hour that the new owners do not plan to keep. Seating is compact — about 18 downstairs plus eight at the bar and a front patio for up to 12 — and the upstairs patio currently houses a walk-in fridge that the new owners plan to remove to add four to five tables." - Tierney Plumb
