"The pasta empire Jon & Vinny’s expanded into Beverly Hills at 456 North Bedford Drive on Monday, October 31, bringing a familiar Italian-American menu of pizzas, pastas, and rainbow cookies to an 800-square-foot space. Near the entrance the new location features the first wine-and-espresso bar from Helen Johannesen—whose Helen’s Wines retail shops are tucked inside Jon & Vinny’s other spots on Fairfax, in Brentwood, and in View Park—with an all-day counter that functions as an espresso bar in the morning and an aperitivo bar in the evening. Drinks include wines by the glass or flight and cocktails like Aperol spritzes and espresso martinis made with sake, and complementary snacks are served daily from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The restaurant is open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.; reservations are available via Resy and takeout/delivery via DoorDash." - Jean Trinh
