"Armitage Alehouse has been a mega-hit since opening in Lincoln Park from Hogsalt, the owners of Bavette’s and Au Cheval. They play it a little fast and loose with their idea of an English pub, with the menu going in a variety of directions. Nonetheless, the desserts have won over diners whether they’re enjoying a full meal, or stopping for a nightcap inside Hogsalt’s signature dimly lit dining rooms.
