Bravo Is Opening a ‘Top Chef’ Eatery in the Comcast Center’s Food Court - Eater Philly
"Center City workers are about to get a Top Chef-approved lunch option when Top Chef Quickfire opens at the Concourse, the underground food court inside the Comcast Center at 17th and JFK. The counter-service eatery will offer a rotating menu of dishes that appeared on the Bravo TV show — hopefully only ones the judges didn’t pan. Eddie Konrad, who competed on Top Chef Season 16 and until recently worked with Top Chef winner Nick Elmi at Laurel, is consulting on the menu. He won’t be working in the kitchen at Quickfire; that chef hasn’t been named yet. Open for lunch only, Top Chef Quickfire will include an open kitchen, a case with grab-and-go items, and some seating. You can either order at the counter or, if you’re not paying with cash, use a touchscreen. Spectra, a food services and hospitality company, is designing the space “to make visitors feel like they have stepped into a Top Chef kitchen,” according to a press release.
