Where to Celebrate Pride Month 2024 in D.C.
"The Dupont hotel has a whole collection of Pride events planned. On Wednesday, June 5, Lyle’s resident drag queens Miss Leggs Benedict and Miss Hennessy host drag trivia as LGTBQ+ bar regular DJ Alex Love spins. On Saturday, June 8, the queens return to the stage before the Pride Parade with cocktails and brunch entrees. D.C. local and LGBTQ+ activist Lisa Marie Thalhammer unveils Pride-themed mural brightening the exterior of the hotel on June 6, and a portion of proceeds from postcards and T-shirts with Thalhammer’s mural to Capital Pride. T-shirts and postcards can be purchased at the front desk. And a June-long hotel package features a welcome cocktail called Glitta Fades, in-room rainbow cake, and champagne; the hotel fee will be donated to Capital Pride Alliance." - Evan Caplan
