Whitechapel, San Francisco’s Popular Downtown Gin Bar, Will Close Until at Least March | Eater SF
"A favorite gin-forward bar on Lower Polk announced on social media it will be closed through March 2023; the owners said a slow neighborhood rebound — attributed in part to remote work reducing nearby office occupancy and delayed residential construction — left them in a “sleepy part of town,” and after March the bar group will “see how things are looking.” During the closure the space will be available for private events, with bartenders and a kitchen crew at the ready." - Dianne de Guzman
