"Set to open around Valentine’s Day at 111 Robert-Bourassa Boulevard in Old Montreal, Il Miglio’s new downtown outpost will occupy the first floor of a large office building (home to tenants like SAP Labs Canada) and is described by co-owner Claude Pelletier as “very promising.” The space will seat 26 people—15 at a shared central table and 10 along a window counter by the entrance facing the intersection of Wellington Street and Prince Street—and will follow the same menu and pricing as the Mile End location (which opened June 16, 2017). All pasta will continue to be produced in the Mile End production space on St‑Laurent Boulevard near Fairmount Avenue and shipped downtown daily. The menu focuses on fresh pasta staples such as vegetable rigatone, tomato gnocchi, and lasagna, with a regularly updated rotating chalkboard of new dishes. Like the Mile End spot, the new location will cater mainly to the lunch crowd (opening around 11:30 a.m. and closing around 7 p.m.), serving nearby daytime office workers while leaving the option for patrons to grab food to-go after work, and Pelletier expects it to “be a good restaurant.”" - Audrey Carleton
