"KENDALL— Longtime watering hole Little Hoolies Sports Bar and Grill (9559 South Dixie Highway) has closed its doors for good. The bar, which was a spinoff of Hooligan’s Pub and Oyster Bar aka “Big Hoolies,” debuted right across the street from The Falls shopping mall 18 years ago. In 2018, it moved into the location of the original Hooligan’s in Dadeland Plaza. But due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and longterm shutdowns that the bar industry in South Florida faced, the bar couldn’t survive according to an Instagram post by PB Restaurant Partners Miami." - Olee Fowler
