"After six months closed for a move and remodel, this longtime Berkeley bar and restaurant (originally opened in 2016 on 38th Street) reopened in a former Irish-pub space at 3963 Tennyson, retaining an imposing wood-front bar and rowdy late-night feel while adding a lounge and a moody, whimsical dining room meant to transport patrons out of their everyday. The owners — Kade Gianinetti, Chad Michael George, and Jared Schwartz — position it as a neighborhood spot that also embraces small, subversive touches; a neon "Wild Things" sign (a nod to the Wendell Berry poem) greets the front entrance.
