"Opening at the end of January for dinner only, this hip Parisian brasserie from Justin and Mia Devillier—named one of Eater New Orleans’ 15 hottest restaurants—debuted in the historic May & Ellis building on Chartres Street to a warm reception, with every slot booked up for weeks. The 200-seat, grand-hall–style space, designed by New Orleans–based firm Farouki Farouki, features antique brass, vintage artwork and lighting, diamond-patterned smoked glass mirrors, and an outdoor dining area with a custom “absinthe decanter–inspired” fountain and lots of greenery. The couple tapped Seaworthy’s former chef Dan Causgrove, who worked for Devillier as a sous at La Petite Grocery, to serve as executive chef. Starting tomorrow the restaurant will begin lunch and weekend brunch services; menus will remain the same for brunch, lunch, and dinner, and hours will be 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday with additional late-night hours Friday and Saturday and Monday service from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m." - Clair Lorell
