"This has been a successful bar that’s been around since the beginning of the cocktail resurgence in the Bay Area in the early 2010s, resulting in numerous branch-off locations throughout Berkeley and the East Bay. Ask for the “Love and Other Demons”. It’s a cocktail they’ve never stopped making since its inception with mezcal, green chile vodka, carrot syrup, and lemon. Simple and balanced, I’d be surprised if one is enough for anyone who tries it. Although in a temporary location two blocks away at 2012 Shattuck Avenue, East Bay Spice Company is scheduled to move back into a newly renovated space later this summer." - Nico Bianchi
