"Described by owners Danielle and Brent Sweatman as a “sodary,” this West Ashley bar specializes in a wide range of gourmet, nonalcoholic sodas (options include a habanero fresca and an OG ginger beer) served in a lush, 1970s disco–jungle–inspired space with a thriving plant wall, wood accents, and cheetah-and-greenery wallpaper; the location occupies the former Florence’s Lowcountry Kitchen in the South Windermere Shopping Center. Brent, who helped open the Rarebit on King Street and developed his own ginger beer on tap as well as homemade bitters, tonic, root beer and seasonal sodas, offers drinks that can be spiked for an extra $5 with house liquor or a cannabis-based infusion to keep offerings inclusive for non-drinkers; beer and wine are available as well. Food is centered on fondue to streamline service amid staffing challenges, with two savory dips (feta-dill and beer cheese) and two sweet options (white and milk chocolate) served with ample accoutrements. Current hours are Wednesday–Thursday 3:00–10:00 p.m. and Friday–Saturday 3:00–11:00 p.m." - Erin Perkins
