"Berlin’s favorite street food döners find a home in Chinatown with the opening of Wolf Down. The Ottawa-based restaurant from Joelle Parenteau teamed up with Marc Marrone and Todd Lunger at Graffiti Hospitality to bring Turkish flatbread stuffed with meats to the Center at Spring Mountain. The döner comes on a sesame-crusted Turkish flatbread stuffed with grilled beef, chicken, or tofu, and loaded with veggies, such as lettuce, cucumber, tomato, onion, or cabbage. Wolf Down offers two sauces in secret or spicy varieties with a vegan option. Customers can order it as a sandwich, rice bowl, or salad. Vegan, gluten-free, halal, keto, and dairy-free options are available. The restaurant keeps the menu small to focus on doing döners well and charges the same price for a sandwich, salad, or rice bowl. Next up, locations in Toronto and Calgary." - Susan Stapleton
