"This fast-casual, counter-service spot in downtown Detroit at 150 W. Jefferson is geared toward carryout customers but also offers seating for about 20 indoors and roughly 20 on the patio, with an interior designed by D Met Studio. The lunch menu brings many popular carryout items from its Ferndale Lebanese predecessor, featuring chicken shawarma, a chicken feta fattoush salad, and quinoa tabbouleh; many offerings are vegetarian, vegan, halal, antibiotic-free, or gluten-free. The restaurant introduces seven different grain bowls — including a falafel bowl with tabbouleh, hummus, and mujadra (a mixture of lentils, groats, rice, and onions) — and also serves soups and sides such as kafta meatballs and wings; most meals are priced between $6 and $13. It opens for weekday lunch (11 a.m.–7 p.m., Monday–Friday) and plans to add breakfast service shortly after launch (planned 7 a.m.–10:30 a.m. weekdays)." - Brenna Houck
