"Pasta pro Brian Clevenger has opened Autumn at 6727 Greenwood Avenue N in Phinney Ridge, his sixth restaurant in Seattle and the furthest north in his General Harvest Restaurants portfolio; he also designed the bright interior himself. The new, airy spot has a similar vibe to his other restaurants with an emphasis on handmade pasta and entrees built around three main seasonal ingredients — examples include duck breast with sunchoke, apples and bee’s wax, and an ahi crudo with turmeric, capers and rhubarb — and Chef Nick Chiaro (formerly a Canlis sous chef with stints at award-winning kitchens in San Francisco and New York) will run the kitchen. With capacity for 39 guests inside and a patio opening July 9, Autumn will lean on a traditional dine-in experience offering both a la carte dishes and, starting August 1, a tasting menu. Cocktails skew summery (the Strawberry Spiced mixes strawberry-chili–infused Aperol with vermouth and prosecco; Loose in Palouse pairs tequila with pink grapefruit), and the beer and wine list highlights Pacific Northwest purveyors alongside global selections. Autumn is open daily from 5–10 p.m., offers a happy hour from 5–6 p.m., and provides delivery through DoorDash and Uber Eats." - Gabe Guarente
