"The iconic Elliott Street Deli & Pub is officially for sale after 13 years in Castleberry Hill. Known for its deli-style sandwiches like the French dip and hot pressed pastrami paired with cheap drinks and PBR tallboys, the bar is housed in a former 1870s carriage house across from Mercedes-Benz Stadium. With walls layered in dollar bills and seating for no more than 30, it attracts a diverse crowd from artists to financiers. The venue includes a three-room inn above and a music venue beneath. Owners Mike and Pete Jakob, former general contractors, purchased the building in 2004 and transformed it into a bar inspired by Milwaukee's neighborhood bars. The brothers are asking $3.3 million for the property and hope the next owner continues its legacy." - Beth McKibben
