"Today’s the day for Byrdie’s, the colorful rotisserie chicken restaurant at 8030 W. Third Street, in the former home of 28-year brunch veteran Quality. The casual sit-down spot is the work of the ever-expanding Bacari team and has been two years in the making as a concept in the mind of brothers Robert and Daniel Kronfli and chef/partner Lior Hillel. So what to expect? Lots of golden slow-cooked bird, of course, set as sandwiches, bowls, and platters, plus roasted vegetables, bone broth, and more on the side. Better still, the new Byrdie’s will match meals ordered at its restaurant with an in-kind meal donation to the LA Regional Food Bank, thanks to co-owner and longtime food bank board member Robert Kronfli. The new Byrdie’s opens today on West Third, keeping daily hours from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. for on-site dining, takeout, and delivery." - Farley Elliott
