"Landing soon in the East Village with a scheduled public opening on Monday, March 16, Bay City Brewing Company—founded in 2015 in Point Loma—expands into a 4,735-square-foot renovated historic building on 8th Avenue that includes a ground-floor restaurant, tasting room, outdoor patio, and a 1,200-square-foot rooftop bar. I noted that, unlike the original Hancock Street location with a rotating lineup of food trucks, the East Village outpost has a full kitchen serving signature pizzas, wings, salads, and breadsticks. Open daily from 11 a.m. to midnight, the family- and dog-friendly space features games, a video wall, and fire pits, and the rooftop can accommodate up to 175 people and be rented for private events." - Candice Woo
