"I learned that Pan Pan Vino Vino will open Friday, March 1 at 120 Norman Avenue (at Eckford Street) as a daytime bakery that becomes a wine bar at night; the team comes from Greenpoint’s Nura, pastry chef Sam Short will premiere baked goods with an Eastern European spin, the wine list is led by Mackenzie Gassett, and small plates will be by Jackie Carnesi (who recently left Nura to overhaul Kellogg’s Diner)." - Emma Orlow
