"As the name implies, this farm-centric restaurant, owned by chef-turned-farmer Lisa Becklund and her wife Linda Ford, is for locavores. Becklund defected from the West Coast to try her hand at farming (before everyone was doing it). She has developed something of a cult following as the host of multicourse Living Kitchen dinners on the couple’s farm in Depew, Oklahoma, which blend rustic and fine dining. In 2020, the duo finally brought the farm dinners to the city with Farm Bar. Make a reservation (they’re required) for a weekend dinner, when you can sample the signature multicourse tasting menus. Walk-ins are welcome during the casual service on Wednesdays and Thursdays, when customers can choose between an a la carte or five-course prix fixe menu. Tuesday is Burgers & Barbera night, when you can score a $10 burger with a $10 glass of Barbera wine." - Jess Brent
