Chef Graham Dodds Parts Ways With The Mayor’s House in Oak Cliff | Eater Dallas

"In the works since 2017, the much-anticipated Oak Cliff restaurant the Mayor’s House won’t have chef Graham Dodds in charge of the kitchen when it finally makes its debut. Owners AJ Gilbert and Martha Madison said they parted ways with Dodds, citing construction woes and an unspecified “timing conflict,” but plan to proceed with the project and will announce a new executive chef soon. They described the effort as turning a beautiful historic house built in 1910 into a contemporary, multi-room restaurant with a bar, banquet room, and state-of-the-art kitchen, and noted that scheduling restaurant openings has been a challenge; the Mayor’s House is expected to arrive sometime in the fourth quarter of 2019." - Amy McCarthy
