"Taking over East Nashville’s beloved former Edgefield Sports Bar space, I learned that Lakeside Lounge appears set to open soon in the renovated space at 921 Woodland Street; its Instagram shows a new NBA Jam arcade game but not much else about the renovation or menu. Hiring posts say the new bar from the Attaboy owners aims to continue offering affordable, quality drinks and food—specifically “bar room classics and comfort food”—and will be open late, serving food until 3 a.m. The project is led by Michael McIlroy, Sam Ross and Brandon Bramhallow, award-winning New York bar owners whose previous ventures include Attaboy (rated among the top five cocktail bars in the world), Attaboy Nashville and Diamond Reef in Brooklyn." - Delia Jo Ramsey
