North Park’s Newest Breakfast Spot Offering Do-It-Yourself Pancakes and More - Eater San Diego

"Flap Your Jacks is a new daytime eatery with a focus on breakfast, scheduled to open in June 2019 in North Park. The 4,200-square-foot space features a mezzanine and is currently vacant. The restaurant, led by owners Ilan Wornovitzky and Marcos Wornovitzky, and COO Raul Esses, will have griddles on each table for diners to cook their own pancakes and customize them with various toppings and sauces. The menu will also include eggs Benedict, French toast, and Mexican breakfast classics such as chilaquiles and huevos rancheros.
