New Austin Bar Tweedy’s Opens in North Campus in Old Spider House Cafe | Eater Austin

"Opened November 4 at 2906 Fruth Street in North Campus inside the former Spider House Cafe, the new bar serves cocktails, wine, and draft beer and will have the Golden Tiger food truck on site for chicken sandwiches, burgers, fries, and more; it's co-owned by Brian Tweedy, Jason McNeely, Shannon LeBoeuf, John Yaklin, and Amy Mullins, who says the space has a "vintage, playful rock and roll vibe" and that the name was chosen simply because the owners liked the way "Tweedy’s" sounded.
