"A new restaurant from the minds behind RJ Mexican Cuisine has opened in the West End, bringing upscale pub fare and cocktails to 311 North Market Street in the West End. Owner Jay Khan said that when most operators were walking away from this part of Downtown almost 14 years ago, he saw it as the perfect opportunity to get ahead of the curve and inspire others to commit to this prized neighborhood. Chef John Moore, formerly of The Woolworth, will lead the kitchen, overseeing familiar plates like truffled cheese fries, deviled eggs, and quinoa-hummus fritters, along with flatbreads, salads, and steak frites. Barman Ruben Michael Chavez will oversee a cocktail menu organized by spirit with options based on gin, cocktail, tequila, rum, and scotch, and classics such as the Sidecar and Aviation will also be on offer. 3Eleven is open all day, serving lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday." - Amy McCarthy
