"The House, formerly known as Russian House, was a downtown Eastern European restaurant that closed earlier this summer. It was originally opened in 2012 by Monamour and her husband/chef Vladimir Gribkov. In February, they changed the name to just House due to the ongoing war in Ukraine. The restaurant closed officially in late May because of impending development on its block." - Nadia Chaudhury
