"A new name, updated space, and abbreviated menu are in place at long-time Five Points casual seafood spot Batter’d & Fried Boston Seafood House, according to the Nashville Post. Under the new name Boston Commons, the menu shrinks from a far-too-large 160 items to just around 60. For years, New England-style seafood shared the menu with sushi, oysters, and burgers at the unassuming East Nashville seafood house. Matthew Charette, who also owns neighboring business Drifter’s Bar-B-Que and Beyond the Edge, purchased the property in July, and implemented the change, to better suit the neighborhood, he tells the Post." - Delia Jo Ramsey
